Personalized Baby Gifts
the other day i received an email from an old co-worker- imagine my surprise when she included pictures of her and her 4month old! the last time i spoke with her, she had mentioned she and her husband were trying to have kids, so i didn't even know she had finally gotten pregnant!! i instantly got to work and made her some baby gifts to send off!
her set included
a personalized fabric decorated burp cloth and matching chenille bib
and a personalized sensory blanket! (unfortunately, i thought the pink would look good on the blanket, but i probably would have been better off using white thread!)
Baseball Taggie Blanket
here's the personalized cuddly taggie blanket that a friend of my sister's ordered. i tried finding some Red Sox fabric but didn't have any luck for her, and ended up getting a generic baseball print instead.
Rainy Rain Go Away…
it has been raining since sunday!! i think it's finally about to clear up and get sunny again- thank goodness! but i've been able to catch up on some orders and get some more stuff done! nothing new, but thought i'd post them so you all can see!

soft and cuddly burp cloths (i'm not sure what the name of this material is. it's the same that i make the cuddly taggie blankets with. i think i've seen it posted as minky, but i still don't know if thats the proper term for that type of fabric!)
and another applique t-shirt with the lollipop trees...my other sister was feeling left out so i had to make her one too!
Cuddly Taggie Blanket
back when i worked in childcare those taggie blankets seemed to be all the rage with the parents. i thought the blankets themselves were a little pricey for just a piece of fabric with some ribbon tags, but kids do love them. really, they just like sticking anything they can into their mouths! better it be something clean right?! 
when my niece was born i decided to make her one. they're really easy and the possibilities are endless! i've even made one for my sister-in-law who is due in a few weeks!
when i was little i had a baby blanket that i was super attached to...and yes- i still have it! my sister also had one that basically turned gray because she used it so long! she's hoping that her daughter will have some kind of security blanket that she'll be attached to, and maybe this cuddly taggie will be it!
