Lychee Cosmopolitan

i've been really bad about posting lately...been keeping busy with my niece! my sister and i have been going on walks up this ginormous hill...she pushes her baby and i plop my 35lb nephew into a jogging stroller and we walk this hill, and i tell you what, you can feel the burn! she and her neighbor walk this hill all the time, except her neighbor will run it a few times! she's insane!!!

soooo...it's friday! yey for the weekend! it's been perfect weather mostly all week- just started getting crummy but luckily, no more of that 40 degreees crap! so even more reason to celebrate with a nice cosmo!

i'm not much of a beer drinker, but give me a nice fruity drink and i'll be happy! although, i can't drink like i used to. even one sometimes makes me woozy...sucks to be old!

this is one of my favs to make at home. very simple and tastes yummy!

Lychee Cosmopolitan

2 oz vodka

1/2 oz grapefruit juice (all i had was tangerine grapefruit...it still ended up very yummy!)

1 oz lychee syrup

1-2 lychees (i use the canned kind because it's already peeled and pitted)

pour all ingredients over ice and shake. strain into a chilled martini glass and garnish with lychee. ENJOY!
