Personalized Bathroom Cups

Every time I see a deal for vinyl I'm always grabbing some to stock up my collection! Pick Your Plum is one of the sites that gets me EVERYTIME! :) And we all know how much I like PYP! (I think I must get a package from them almost every week! I'm REALLY, REALLY trying to cut back!) A few months back they did a deal on glitter vinyl. Honestly, I had no use for them at the time, but knew that if i didn't get them I'd probably have some project I wanted to make and would've kicked myself for not having them! That project came in mind one morning when I was getting B and my niece ready for the day! My niece comes over every morning and I take her to school, so she usually gets ready  at my house. The extra upstairs bathroom isn't too large, so there isn't much counter or cabinet space. After fumbling around with the extra toothpaste and toothbrushes and trying to keep B away from the products that don't belong to him, I decided I needed to make them each their own bathroom cups! We had lots of extra plastic tumblers so I decided to just use some materials I already had in the house (although, give me an excuse to run to Homegoods and I would've taken it in a heartbeat!) I ended up using the glitter vinyl to personalize the cups and truly make them their own!

It was kind've fitting that I used a little monster for B's cup, because at almost 18 months, he can definitely be a little monster sometimes! HA! And, at 4 years old, any little girl would love a princess theme ANYTHING right?! The backside of my niece's cup even has a castle on it!

The cups work out perfectly for the small bathroom. Each of the kids own toothpaste (B's is an infant gel and E's is normal kids toothpaste...which both were samples in one of my first Citrus Lane boxes!) toothbrushes and combs fit perfectly in the cup, leaving the rest of the counter clutter free! My niece's also has a pack of hair elastics in them so that she can pick which color hair tie to use every morning (I'm sure anyone with a little girl can imagine how long of a process this can be!) The kids have gotten into the routine of putting everything back in their cups- it's also helped TREMENDOUSLY with not misplacing items! I can't tell you how often I'd be running around looking for a comb to brush their hairs in the morning!
