Welcome 2011!!

it doesn't surprise me how fast 2010 came and went! (didn't mean to go this long without posting, especially since i did have lots of handmade gifts i made for the holidays that i wanted to share! hopefully i'll get around to posting about those one of these days!!) we had a wonderful holiday season with our families- my in-laws decided at the last minute to fly down from Michigan, so Christmas this year was truly filled with family time!

i received a few books and other fun stuff this year for Christmas! can't wait to get started on those and have some new projects to work on. lately the only thing i've really been sewing has been for the baby!  and yes, eventually you'll get to see how the nursery turned out too!! (don't get too excited though, i kept it fairly simple!)

as many of you know, we are less than 20 days away from welcoming Baby Boy into this world! hubby and i are super excited and at this point in my pregnancy i'm ready for him to come any day now!! i'm feeling huge (though i haven't put on too much weight, and it's ALL belly!!) and sleeping has become rare and if i can get some solid sleep, that would be quite the luxury!!

just wanted to do a quick update on the shop while we prepare for the baby's arrival! i will continue to keep my shop open, however please know that if i suddenly go into labor, obviously your order will not ship same day!! for the remainder of January i will not be taking custom orders. if you don't have a problem with waiting until mid-February sometime to receive a custom order, i don't have a problem with taking that order now, just know that the turnaround will not be the usual 7-10 days as it is right now for custom orders! and, if you haven't taken advantage of the 25% off sale i have going on in my shop, today is the last day to use coupon code GOODBYE2010!
