for the longest time i’d been wanting to order some Japanese fabrics…of course, i’m a bit on the conservative side when it comes to spending money on things i don’t really need, so my rational side always won and i’d close whatever Etsy window i was browsing and forget about it. then, i got an email from one of my cousins out in California who was interested in a tote bag made out of some Hello Kitty fabric, and it gave me the perfect reason to FINALLY be able to get some Japanese imports! i didn’t need anything but the Hello Kitty fabric but decided i should treat myself to just a little something extra, and i found a fat quarter set of Little Red Riding Hood and Hansel and Gretel fabric that i thought would make some cute bibs and burp cloths. and as it so happened that when i was looking at these imported fabrics, another etsy shop was offering free shipping on their fabrics, so i was able to get another cute little fat quarter of blue bears!
