one of my friends was interested in me making a nursing cover for her. i knew they weren’t hard and decided to take on the task of constructing one, even though i’ve never used one myself! i knew it was essentially like making a regular apron, except with some boning.
the fabric she chose was of a sateen cotton so it had a bit of stretch in it. i must’ve dried it three times before i started sewing just to make sure that when she washed it, it wouldn’t shrink too much! all in all i was pretty impressed with how it turned out and even managed to make a matching drawstring bag to carry it in. i think i’ll start carrying a few sets in my shop!
