i don’t know about you guys, but it’s been raining here for the last week or so…and i believe it’s going to continue for the next week?!! i thought APRIL showers brought MAY flowers?!
in any event, since the weather has been so yucky it’s given me enough reason to stay inside and sew! and plus the fact that i’ve developed allergies as an adult, i’ve been pretty miserable the last week! i thought the rain washing away the pollen would help but my scratchy throat, eyes, and nose haven’t disappeared yet! you know, i’ve lived in this area my whole entire life and didn’t develop allergies till last year! my husband didn’t develop allergies till he moved to Virginia, and when he went to the doctors last year for some medicine he was informed that Northern VA is the WORST place for allergies! GREAT! and my poor nephew! he’s only four and has developed severe allergies as well! if only i had a picture! just imagine a little marshmallow! his poor little face was so swollen! his eyes could barely open, and he’s so stuffed up that he can barely breath!
so…not to go off on a tangent about allergies, but if you are suffering from them, i feel your pain!
