over the weekend my sister and her husband had the unfortunate sadness of losing their dog, Cocoa. Cocoa was 13 years old, and if you knew my sister, you knew this was their baby!! she had gotten sick a few weeks back, but the vet thought it was a urinary tract infection. as her condition worsened, it turned out that Cocoa’s kidney’s were failing and the damage was beyond repair.

Cocoa was a funny dog. she was particular about things, and protective of the house. for such a small dog, she made her place known! my sister and her husband gave her an amazing life for the last 11 years when they rescued her, and it makes me sad that their daughter won’t be able to remember Cocoa, like we’ve all known Cocoa!
