New purses for ME!

August 27th, 2008 by natalie

i decided to take some “me” time and made myself a few bags for the fall! after spending the last couple months sewing non-stop for everyone else, i figured it was high time i treated myself to something new!

i made myself a new hobo bag in Anna Maria Horner’s Sketchbook fabric…it’s my favorite so far and i’ve been carrying it around LOTS! it replaces this old hobo bag i made early this year!

AND i also have a new purse pattern, so i’ll be introducing these in my shop pretty soon as well! i decided to use the Chocolate Lollipop fabric that my little cousin bought me for this pleated hobo bag. turned out pretty cute don’t you think?

and since i’m trading in some old purses it’s about time i trade in for new sunglasses too… mainly in part because this is what the pup did to them…

sad. these were my Gucci sunglasses! of course he couldn’t chew up the cheapie ones i bought from Target!!! and i wasn’t so upset at the fact that they were designer glasses but that they were one of the first things i’ve ever really splurged on besides a few Coach bags, all on my own. i’ve never been one to really spoil myself (my husband is always telling me to, but of course i’m always trying to save rather than spend!) and thank god i didn’t buy these full price because i definitely wouldn’t have been as calm as i was!
