when i went on my trip to myrtle to visit one of my best friends, i knew exactly what to make her for her birthday this month! she loves purple so when i found this print on fabric.com i knew the perfect idea for her! i made her one of my tote bags and also made a matching portfolio with it- i figured with all the wedding planning she’ll be doing it would be a good place for her to be able to jot down ideas!

then, no sooner did i received a thank you card for it, i also got this in mail!!!! (talk about shocked! the UPS guy showed up and i knew i hadn’t ordered anything, and was pretty positive my husband hadn’t either, so i was pleasantly surprised when i opened the box up to find this!)

it’s a cookie “invitation” asking me to be her bridesmaid!! how fun! i of course called her instantly and said i would be honored!!!

(in case you can’t see what it says, the cookie reads, “It is hard for me to believe that in just a little while Tieg and I will be walking down the aisle. And nothing would give me more joy and pride than to have you right there by my side. Will you be my Bridesmaid?”)

oh yeah…and no, i don’t plan on eating it! it’s just too cute to devour!
