this is probably why i won’t be having kids anytime soon…my hubby’s too busy buying me stuff like this and this! (not that i don’t appreciate it…but come on…i’m not getting any younger!)

i keep yelling at him because he keeps wanting to buy all sorts of gadgets (how are we supposed to have a kid if he’s spending his money on this kind of stuff?!)  leave it to me to marry a computer geek who wants every possible techy thing out there! we BOTH got iphones and no we weren’t the like any of the other crazy people who camped out and stood in line for ten hours on friday morning! we actually didn’t get the phones till sunday, when the hype sort’ve died down! the lines weren’t as bad, but we did stand in line for about a hour and a half! and of course as soon as we were almost up, they warned us that previous AT&T customers who haven’t met their upgrade would pay $399 instead of the $199 they were charging new customers! i knew i was close to an upgrade but wasn’t sure if it had passed or not and i really don’t understand why they’d screw their current customers like that and not just allow everyone to get the phones at the $199 deal…but whatever, i was lucky and was eligible for an upgrade so everything worked out! i wasn’t as gung-ho about getting a new phone like my husband (who has probably been through more phones that me, my mom, and my sisters combined!) but now that i’ve gotten the hang of it, it’s actually pretty fun! and of course, after switching in my bright pink razr i had to get a pink case for my new phone!

annndddd….i also got these in the mail this weekend!

i finally got my “crafty natalie” business cards! i got them from this Etsy seller. they had tons of cute designs and i loved this bird one! the writing is in white, so it’s very light in the picture, but looks great in person! it took about two weeks to get after i ordered them because they were shipped from South America. the customer service from this seller was great, and i’ll definitelly use them again! they’ve got tons of other products as well! (and fyi…i’m hoping to open my Etsy shop by August! yes, i know i oringally said, June, but obviously now that July’s almost half over, August it is!)
