look what i just got in the mail!

i had mentioned to my cousin, who is currently living in France, that i had heard about this magazine, Marie Claire Idees, and was interested in getting it. you can’t get it here (at least i have not been able to find it) but you can get a subscription online through Amazon. i didn’t know if i’d really read this magazine (since it is all in French…good thing i studied the language for 7 years!) so she was nice enough to send me a copy before i decide whether or not to get a subscription!

the magazine is really cute! great pictures, cute ideas, and good recipes!! i already have a project in mind from this issue! there’s a cute bowling tote/satchel looking bag that i’d like to try making! (if you look at the top left corner of the magazine they have it pictured! mine won’t have so many appliques on it, probably just a regular printed fabric)

fyi: my cousin just showed me this blog where the woman has scanned some pages from her Marie Claire Idees magazine! that way you can see what i’m talking about! it’s such a cool magazine!
