my husband spoils me!

he came home from work yesterday with a box. i could only imagine what it could be since he hadn’t said he was buying anything, plus the fact it got shipped to his work and not the house! and whenever he says he’s going to buy something i shudder at the thought of how much he’s going to spend! he is a computer geek so you can only imagine what our office looks like! (let’s just say i had a friend over one time and she saw the office and was like, oh my god its CIA headquarters!) i assumed it would be another electronic gadget of some sort and then he said it wasn’t for him, that it was a gift for me! so imagine my surprise when i opened up the box and it was a MacBook!!! he had gotten the MacBook Pro a few months back for work and fell in love with the Macs. he had given me his old laptop which i keep on the kitchen island just so i don’t always have to be holed up in the office, but this old laptop was seeing it’s final days! the drive was going bad and would always flake out on me…he had mentioned that my new laptop would be a Mac…i just thought it’d be when the old laptop died altogether!

so…

out with the old…

in with the new!

i’m thinking i might have to buy the new Amy Butler laptop cover pattern!
