when i checked the weather yesterday morning it only said 30% chance of rain for last night…
needless to say they were wrong, and this is what our backyard looked like yesterday afternoon, and we had flood warnings all night! and not only that , it’s going to rain for the next few days!! looks like i am staying in today and bumming around on this 48 degree rainy, yucky, day!
when we first moved into our new house we knew we’d have to get a fence and a patio and do some irrigation, but we were holding off till spring. well, spring is definitely here and it looks like our stimulus check will be paying for all of the above!! (if you can’t tell in the picture, we have four temporary stepping stones that are completely submerged under water!!) what a mess!
and of course walking the dog is NOT fun in this kind of weather and he goes right into his crate for a little bit when he gets back…obviously he doesn’t like that…
he just tore apart his THIRD dog bed!!! i have to say though, when we were in puppy class they said puppies can be terrible at chewing, and you’d be surprised at how they can chew down dry wall, so i should say i’m relieved he hasn’t bitten down anything inside the house, but really? with all the toys and bones we give him, when will this stop?!
