it was a happy night yesterday! when my husband watches hockey things can get really intense! and since it’s playoffs, intense is kind of an understatement! sometimes i just hide out upstairs and pray i don’t hear any yelling but a “NICE!” or “YEEESSS!” anything other than that, i’m staying upstairs!!! i like watching hockey but get too antsy and i’m literally on the edge of my seat, so sometimes its just better if i don’t!

on friday the Wings were up one and Nashville scored in the last 43 seconds or so and lemme tell you a huge obscenity was yelled that i’m pretty sure our neighbors could hear!! but luckily they won that game as well, which tied the series, so they really had to win on Sunday!

it would be great if they made it to the final round…a few years back in like 98 or so hubby wanted to score tickets to the game. of course the whole family tried calling in for tickets and his mom got through instantly. well…turns out she decided not to get tickets because she thought if she got through that fast, then maybe everyone else did too, so why get that many tickets? seemed logical…only NO ONE else got tickets! hubby is still holding this against his mother! and i probably really shouldn’t have written that because it’ll only make hubby pout all over again! (sorry to open up old wounds honey!)

so the start of series 2 should be later this week! they’ll either play Calgary or Colorado, which should be interesting!
