Traditionally the challah is made into a round loaf with raisins for Rosh HaShanah (the Jewish New Year).

LOL, you should have seen the size of the challah that my in-laws ordered for our wedding! It was a little over the top and didn&#039;t quite fit on the little table that the reception hall people provided. But it tasted good.
