Baby Shower Keepsake Quilt, part 2

March 18th, 2008 by natalie

i finally managed to finish my sister’s baby shower quilt. i finished the first one about a month ago, and had to make a second one for the panels that the family members personalized. the first quilt had the panels that were personalized by friends who attended the shower. (a picture of that quilt is in the February picture gallery)  because i had so many squares i had to make two quilts in order to fit them all!  i think once i can get lines to perfectly match up then i’ll probably enjoy quilting a lot more-  i think that’s the most frustrating part, when you follow patterns and rules and when you finish sewing it all up, and it doesn’t match! but, i guess i just don’t have too much patience for it right now because i can never really get a quiet hour to myself to get what i want done!

this was one of my favorite squares that jerry’s mom designed. i think it’s totally super cute!
